(Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted 3: Incredible Iceland) Kultura This season Gordon is on culinary mission as he dives, fishes and forages across the world. From hand-catching rattlesnakes in Texas, to fighting waves hunting for barnacles in Portugal, Ramsay’s adventure takes him: lobstering in Maine; moonshining in the Smokey Mountains; rappelling for shrimp in Puerto Rico; bread making in Iceland’s volcanic sands; wrestling with conga eels in Croatia; and scaling cliffs for butterworms and honey ants in Mexico. Chef Ramsay explores the land of fire and ice during the Icelandic summer to learn secret cooking techniques utilizing the volcanic landscape. He fishes in a glacial river for wild salmon, and cooks in a geothermal pool before heading north to the sparsely populated Westfjords. After sampling fermented shark and diving for scallops in the freezing fjords, he joins Iceland’s first Michelin rated chef, Ragnar Eiríksson, for a feast in a rainstorm. MN 12 (United States)
