He faces remote jungle and flooded plains, soaring cloud-forest and brutal limestone peaks, relying only on the traditional survival skills of the Mekong’s indigenous people - all at the toughest time of the year, when Monsoon Season peaks, and the landscape is at its wildest and most challenging. High above the clouds, Hazen Audel begins the survival adventure of a lifetime. From the highest point in the Mekong Basin in Laos, he descends through cloud forest in search of the Hmong people, who hunt using traditional poisons and craft their own survival tools from Vietnam War shrapnel.
